Vines – Lung (Vines Version)

Originally composed as a solo violin piece, Lung is a part of Cassie Wieland’s ANATOMY, a series of solos based on different parts of the human body. Each piece focuses on how aspects of our bodies, however subtle or minute, hold stories in their details.

The original version of this material was released earlier in 2023 on Adrianne Munden-Dixon’s album Lung (also on Gold Bolus). In this new version, Cassie recreates her own work through the lens of her solo project Vines, incorporating her ambient-forward production style and signature processed vocals. This release marks the first original material released by Vines.
